Top 50 Countries by OnlyFans Creator Count

OnlyFans is a truly global platform, yet creator distribution is far from uniform. Our analysis of 150,649 geolocated profiles reveals a striking concentration in a handful of countries. United States dominates the landscape with 79,245 creators β€” accounting for 52.6% of all geolocated profiles in our dataset. This outsized share reflects the platform's English-language origins, established digital payment infrastructure in North America, and a relatively permissive regulatory environment for content creation. The second and third largest markets trail significantly, underscoring just how US-centric the OnlyFans creator economy remains in 2026.

Beyond the top 3, a clear pattern emerges: English-speaking countries and Western European nations dominate the rankings. Countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia benefit from shared language, cultural familiarity with subscription-based content platforms, and strong digital banking infrastructure that makes creator onboarding straightforward. Meanwhile, emerging markets in Latin America and Eastern Europe are growing rapidly, driven by favorable exchange rates that make dollar-denominated earnings particularly attractive for creators in those regions.

The dominance of English-speaking markets is unmistakable. The United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia collectively represent the overwhelming majority of OnlyFans creators worldwide. This concentration stems from multiple reinforcing factors: the platform was founded in London and initially marketed to English-speaking audiences, the payment infrastructure in these countries is highly developed with widespread access to banking and identity verification systems required for creator onboarding, and cultural attitudes toward content creation as a legitimate career path are more established. Pricing differences between countries often reflect local economic conditions and purchasing power β€” creators in higher cost-of-living nations like the United States and United Kingdom tend to set higher subscription prices compared to creators in Latin America or Southeast Asia, where lower price points can still represent significant income relative to local wages.

It is worth noting that geographic data is self-reported by creators and may not always reflect their actual residence. Some creators list aspirational locations or the location of their target audience rather than where they physically live. Despite this limitation, the overall distribution patterns align closely with what industry analysts and OnlyFans itself have reported about the platform's user base geography.

US State Breakdown

The United States is far and away the largest single market for OnlyFans creators, making a state-level breakdown essential for understanding domestic geographic patterns. With 79,245 US-based creators in our dataset, the distribution across states reveals interesting patterns tied to population density, urban concentration, and regional cultural factors. California leads all states with 7,408 creators, which is unsurprising given its massive population and concentration of entertainment industry professionals. The average subscription price for California-based creators is $14.17 per month.

State-level pricing data reveals meaningful variation across the country. States with higher costs of living β€” particularly those with major metropolitan areas like New York, California, and Florida β€” tend to have higher average subscription prices. Creators in these states face steeper living expenses and often price their content accordingly. Conversely, states in the Midwest and South frequently show lower average prices, though they also tend to have higher free account percentages, suggesting that creators in these regions may lean more heavily toward freemium monetization strategies that rely on tips and pay-per-view messages rather than subscription fees.

Population alone does not fully explain state rankings. While the most populous states (California, Texas, Florida, New York) predictably appear near the top, some smaller states punch above their weight on a per-capita basis. States with large entertainment and nightlife industries, significant military base populations, and major university towns tend to produce disproportionately more creators. The free account percentage varies substantially by state β€” ranging from under 20% in some states to over 40% in others β€” reflecting different regional approaches to content monetization and local market competition.

UK Region Breakdown

As the birthplace of OnlyFans β€” the platform was founded in London in 2016 β€” the United Kingdom represents the second-largest English-speaking market for creators. The UK's relatively compact geography and high internet penetration make it a particularly dense market for content creators. London and the South East of England dominate, which mirrors broader population and economic patterns in the UK, but creators are spread across every region from Scotland to the South West.

UK-based creators face a unique market dynamic: they earn in US dollars on OnlyFans but live in a pound-denominated economy. Currency fluctuations can significantly impact real earnings, which may explain why average subscription prices for UK creators sometimes differ from their American counterparts. The free account percentage across UK regions provides insight into regional pricing strategies β€” areas with lower costs of living may find the freemium model more viable, while creators in expensive cities like London may need subscription revenue to sustain their content production.

UK Regions by Creator Count

2Scotland228$11.6914%
3Wales72$11.2811%
4Northern Ireland44$12.0923%

Regional variation within the UK reflects both population density and economic factors. Greater London and the surrounding South East consistently produce the most creators, but Northern England, Scotland, and Wales all have active creator communities. The pricing gap between London-based creators and those in other regions tends to be smaller than the equivalent gap between US coastal and interior states, likely because the UK's smaller geographic scale and more uniform internet infrastructure create a more homogeneous market. Top Category-Country Combinations

Which content niches dominate in which countries? The intersection of category and geographic data reveals regional specialization patterns that go beyond simple population-driven rankings. While the largest countries naturally appear most frequently, the specific category breakdowns reveal cultural preferences and market dynamics unique to each region. These are the 30 most common category-country pairs in our database, each representing a significant cluster of creators operating at the intersection of a specific content niche and geographic market.

Understanding these combinations is valuable for both creators and subscribers. Creators can identify underserved niches in their home market β€” a category that is saturated in the United States might have relatively little competition in another country. Subscribers looking for creators from specific regions or cultural backgrounds can use this data to narrow their search. The concentration of certain categories in particular countries also reflects broader cultural attitudes toward different types of content creation and the audiences that consume them.

The dominance of certain category-country pairs reflects both creator demographics and subscriber demand. Large English-speaking markets tend to have high creator counts across most categories, but the relative ranking of categories within each country can vary significantly. For example, fitness and lifestyle content may rank proportionally higher in certain European countries compared to the United States, while other niches may be more concentrated in specific regions due to cultural factors. Explore specific combinations in our category directory or location directory.

Most Popular Category by Country

Which content type dominates in each country? This table shows the single most popular creator category for each of the top 20 countries in our dataset. While many countries share the same dominant category β€” reflecting universal appeal of certain content types β€” there are notable differences that reveal regional preferences and cultural influences on content creation patterns.

The dominant category in a country is not necessarily the only significant one. In many cases, the top two or three categories are closely contested, with relatively small differences in creator count separating them. However, the leading category often sets the tone for that country's creator ecosystem and influences which types of content new creators in that market choose to produce. Markets where a single category holds an outsized lead may be more specialized, while countries with more evenly distributed categories tend to have more diverse creator communities.

Methodology & Data Sources

Dataset size: This geographic report analyzes location data from 451,684 total creator profiles, of which 150,649 (33%) include location information sufficient for geographic classification.

Data source: Profiles were aggregated from multiple publicly accessible OnlyFans directory and discovery platforms. This represents a large sample of creators who have opted into third-party discovery services β€” not the complete OnlyFans creator base. OnlyFans has reported over 4 million creators on the platform as of 2025, so our dataset represents a significant but partial sample.

Collection period: February–March 2026. Profiles are continuously updated via automated API integrations with source directories. Location data is collected at the time of profile ingestion and may not reflect subsequent creator relocations.

Country-level methodology: Country assignments are derived from the first segment of each creator's comma-delimited location field (e.g., "united-states" from "united-states,california,los-angeles"). This approach provides consistent country-level classification regardless of how granular the original location data is. Countries with fewer than 20 creators are excluded from rankings to ensure statistical reliability.

State and region methodology: Sub-national breakdowns (US states, UK regions) use the second segment of the location field. For the US breakdown, only creators whose first location segment is "united-states" are included. For the UK breakdown, only creators with "united-kingdom" as their first segment qualify. Regions with fewer than 20 creators (US) or 10 creators (UK) are excluded from their respective rankings.

Category-country data: Category assignments come from directory platforms' classification systems. Creators may be tagged with multiple categories, so a single creator can appear in multiple category-country combinations. Only combinations with 50 or more creators are included in the category-country matrix.

Limitations: Not all OnlyFans creators provide location data on directory platforms. Creators without location information (67% of our total dataset) are excluded from all geographic analyses in this report. Location data is self-reported and may not always reflect a creator's actual country of residence. Some creators list the location of their target audience or an aspirational location. Revenue, subscriber counts, and earnings data are not available from public directory profiles and are therefore not included in this analysis.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which country has the most OnlyFans creators?

United States has the most OnlyFans creators by a significant margin, with 79,245 creators in our dataset β€” representing 52.6% of all geolocated profiles. This dominance reflects the platform's English-language origins, established digital payment infrastructure, and a large population of content creators who have embraced subscription-based monetization. The average subscription price for United States-based creators is $13.68 per month, with 24% offering free subscriptions. Browse United States creators in our United States directory.

How many countries have OnlyFans creators?

Browse all countries in our location directory.

Which US state has the most OnlyFans creators?

California leads all US states with 7,408 OnlyFans creators in our dataset. The average subscription price for California-based creators is $14.17 per month, with 24% offering free subscriptions. This ranking is influenced by population size, urban density, entertainment industry proximity, and local cultural factors. Browse our full California directory to find creators from this state.

Do OnlyFans subscription prices vary by country?

Yes, OnlyFans subscription prices vary significantly by country. In our dataset, Romania has the lowest average subscription price at $11.11 per month, while UAE has the highest at $21.44 per month. These differences reflect local economic conditions, cost of living, purchasing power of the target audience, and regional competition levels. Creators in developing economies often set lower prices to attract a larger subscriber base, while creators in high-income countries can charge premium rates. Free account percentages also vary by country, with some markets favoring freemium monetization strategies more than others.
